Gentle People:
It is with a great deal of pride and anticipation for success that I look forward to being your Governor for the next 12 months. We have a great lodge and great member base. I truly believe that we can make Moose Lodge 257 even better than it is now.
If we all pull together, we can overcome any obstacle and win any challenge. I encourage all of you to participate in lodge events, and, if possible, join our group of outstanding volunteers that keep our lodge events, such as meals, the success that they consistently are. Without volunteers, there are no meals to be served. If you know a volunteer, please take the time to thank them for their service.
I would also encourage you to show respect for your bartenders when visiting the social quarters and remember the individual behind that bar is in charge.
I would like to go on and on about our lodge and what we can do together to make it one of the best in the country but I am told, understandably , I have limited space.
However, to paraphrase from an historical quote, A lodge for the members, of the members, and by the members.
